The Mono Online Rheometer MOR is used for measuring a viscosity curve of polymers. Here, the viscosity is measured by using a melt flow, which runs through a round capillary. The melt is taken either directly from the extruder or as side stream.
The Wide Range Online-Rheometer WROR determines the viscosity of a plastic melt at different shearing speeds. Due to the 3-capillary concept from Collin, the range of shear speeds is very wide.
Thus, the viscosity curve can be determined online at several points.
A 3-way spinning distributor pump guarantees an equal melt distribution to three capillaries.
