TEACH•LINE

The COLLIN Teach Line series includes compact table-top machines for the processing of polymers, especially for apprenticeship and research & development. With the lines, it is possible to easily simulate different discontinuous and continuous processes of plastic processing or to test samples.

The Teach Line Roll Mill is used for mixing, plasticising, kneading and forming plastic and elastomers.

Technical description

Rolls. Made of hardened chrome steel, grinded and polished.
Gap adjustment. The roll distance can be adjusted by mechanical and manual adjustment of the front roll.
Drive. Both rolls are driven, friction ratio selectable when ordering the machine.
Roll heating. Electric via a heating cartridge with reinforced edge zone heating.

Safety

The roll gap is covered with a safety grid, emergency stop mechanism.
